What's your favorite web browser and why?

I like Firefox because of its speed and ease of use, and also because of all its wonderful add-ons. The only thing that bothers me about it is that it still doesn't have the feature of smooth text. That's where Safari comes in with its top-notch interface and page rendering, but it doesn't support a lot of the Web 2.0 features and most toolbars aren't compatible with it. I guess if I was to choose one of the two, it would probably be Firefox.

What's your favorite web browser and why?
Yeah, Safari is good, Opera is Ok, IE is also good but Firefox is excellent. 1. It is cross-platform; 2. Its stability is unmatched especially the new version 2.0.0.4; 3. Firefox uses SSL/TLS to protect communications with web servers using strong cryptography when using the ever reliable HTTPS protocol; 4. Though interms of market share IE supersedes it and thats due to Microsoft shipping of Windows with IE else than that Firefox is cool below is their current market share standing: -

Opera for sheer speed and out-of-the-box feature set. However, Firefox's extensions are extremely useful, and I'll switch over as soon as all of Opera's features can be emulated in Firefox.
