Firefox 2.0 never finishes the extraction. It gets to 95% then disappears from the screen. Any ideas?

I've tried installing from the web and from a CD. It does the same thing from both sources. I wonder if a spyware may be causing the problem.

Are you reinstalling it after deleting or overwriting a previous version of Firefox? Please uninstall the previous version, go to the Programs folder and manually remove the Firefox / Mozilla folder and use a registry cleaner to remove all residue.


Reboot your computer. After that try to install Firefox 2.
